Los premios MTV Video Music Awards (VMA’s) 2020 y que se llevaron acabo el domingo de ayer, 30 de agosto, juntó según informes, un mayor raiting a comparación del año pasado gracias a las sorpresas, actos y nominaciones que pudieron transmitir a pesar de las complicaciones por el COVID-19.
Sin duda alguna, los VMA’s que se realizaron en la ciudad de Nueva York, fue una de las premiaciones más vistas y continúa siendo tendencia a través de todas las redes sociales, luego de haber reunido a los artistas más aclamados a nivel mundial.
Aunque al inicio muchos no estuvieron de acuerdo con los nominados en algunas categorías, pues no se les reconoció el trabajo a cantantes como Harry Styles y Dua Lipa, la celebración de los MTV tuvo gran crítica debido a la producción de los shows, los looks de los famosos y claro, los galardonados de la noche.
Lady Gaga se coronó como las reina de la noche llevándose 5 premios a casa, entre ellos, artista del año y el primer Tricon que se entrega en los VMAs, el cual reconoce el talento de un artista en tres o más disciplinas distintas. Seguida por Ariana Grande que ganó 4 estatuillas y The Weekend con 2 y que le debe a su sencillo “Blinding Lights”.
